Bring More Families Home!
Your gift helps the Housing Development Alliance sustain the housing work Eastern Kentucky families are counting on.
Because every family deserves a safe place to call home.
The need is real - and it’s still here.
More than 200 families across Breathitt, Knott, Leslie, and Perry counties are waiting or moving through the pipeline for a safe, affordable home. Some are recovering from disaster. Some are living in homes that need critical repairs. All are working toward the same thing: a stable place to call home.
HDA has proven what’s possible.
- 433 homes built & sold to date
- 1,132 home repairs completed
- A record year - more homes built and sold than ever before in our history!
- 52 homes currently under construction
After the 2022 flood, HDA grew fast - from building 17–20 homes a year to 50–60, and from 25 staff to 52. But as disaster recovery funding winds down, we must sustain that capacity for the long haul.
Why your gift matters:
Grants - both federal and state - help fund specific projects. Flexible donations help sustain everything else - the crews, tools, programs, and daily operations that keep families moving toward home.
Our goal: $75,000 by December 31. If we reach it early, we’ll stretch toward $100,000 to meet even more of the urgent need.
