Help Us Reach 400 Low-Income East Kentucky Families in Our 30th Year!

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Housing Development Alliance (HDA). To honor this milestone, we've created a special campaign called "30K for HDA." Can we count on you to help grow our impact and expand our reach to more than 400 families this year?

From where we started to where we are today, we are so grateful for the community supporters who have been instrumental in allowing us to have a positive impact in building quality affordable homes for low-income families to live in and thrive. Over the past 30 years, we've grown from a staff of 1 to a staff of more than 40 people working to provide affordable housing for low-income individuals and families in East Kentucky, and we've grown from serving dozens of people to helping around 100 each year. But there are more than 28,000 low-income families in East Kentucky who are still in need of housing that we are working hard to reach.

While we're proud of all we've accomplished in the last 30 years, there's still an urgent need to help low-income families obtain affordable homes. From poverty, to a decades-long housing crisis, to an historic 1,000-year flood that destroyed 500 homes and damaged thousands more in our community, we know there are thousands of struggling mothers and fathers, people living with disabilities, and elderly couples living on fixed incomes who need our help so that they can have the benefit of living in a quality home they can afford - a home that will allow them to build wealth and a brighter future!
